Packaging Pick of the Day – Starbucks Christmas
It’s that time of the year again, which means Starbucks has released this year’s red cups! Starbucks drinkers look forward to the release of Starbucks holiday designs every year. This year’s cups do not disappoint, with the fantastic cut-paper style (very on trend). Designing for the holidays is a tricky task. One has to keep in mind that millions of people, with varying faiths, will be enjoying their Peppermint Mocha Latte. Because of this, Starbucks does a great job incorporating winter-focused imagery with the Christmas red color. It’s also a challenge to keep holiday designs fresh each year, without going towards the tacky Christmas style (you all know what I’m talking about!). In addition to the red cups, Starbucks has released their Christmas Blends, which use delightful illustrations and a sophisticated color palette. I just love the purple bag!
